A collaboration between UCA and
The New Good Life
When the world changes, what does a good life look like now?
Perhaps you are noticing that some of the assumptions you once made about your life, work or future no longer feel quite as certain.
Perhaps you are navigating change yourself while simultaneously supporting clients who are facing uncertainty, disruption and transition.
Or perhaps nothing is particularly wrong – but you have a growing sense that the life you have created isn’t necessarily the life you want to carry unchanged into the future.
My New Good Life gives you the time, structure and supportive space to explore what a good life means for you now – and what you might want to do differently.
Is this programme for me?
MNGL could be for you if you:
- are navigating change, transition or uncertainty in your own life;
- find yourself questioning what success, fulfilment or a “good life” now means;
- want to feel more grounded and less overwhelmed by what’s happening around you;
- are supporting coaching clients who are themselves experiencing significant change;
- want space to reflect on your values, relationships, identity and sense of purpose;
- are curious about how global, technological and societal change may be influencing you;
- want practical ways of experimenting with change rather than feeling you need to have everything figured out; or
- simply sense that it is time to stop, take stock and consider “What do I want the next chapter to look like?”
Experience it yourself before taking it into your coaching
MNGL begins with you.
Rather than starting with another coaching model or collection of tools, MNGL invites you to experience the journey personally.
That matters.
It gives you the opportunity to understand the questions, challenges, insights and possibilities that can emerge when we begin exploring what a New Good Life might actually mean.
For coaches who subsequently want to take this learning further into their professional practice, there will be an opportunity to continue into MNGL Plus after completing the programme.
What could change for you over 10 weeks?
Over the 10 weeks, you will have the opportunity to:
- clarify what is consuming or draining your energy;
- develop a realistic vision of your New Good Life;
- better understand fears, hesitations and internal resistance;
- reconnect with your essence and natural gifts;
- explore the relationships and systems influencing your choices;
- face uncertainty without becoming overwhelmed by it;
- develop a grounded and meaningful sense of mission;
- translate insight into small, safe experiments for change; and
- consider how you can move forward with greater presence, balance and joy.

Schedule for 10 Modules and Friday Live Group check-ins
Each week builds on the last, taking you from reflecting on where you are now to creating practical ways of sustaining greater balance, purpose and direction. Select a module below to explore each stage of the journey.
The dates below are for the Friday Live Group check-ins.
Module 1 – Take Stock | Friday 16 October 2026 | 09:00–09:45 BST
Begin by looking honestly at where you are now. Explore what is working, what is draining your energy and what may need to change. This module helps you establish your starting point and identify the realities, tensions and priorities that will shape your New Good Life.
Module 2 – Envision Direction | Friday 23 October 2026 | 09:00–09:45 BST
What might a good life look like for you in a changing world? Step beyond simply fixing today’s problems and begin creating a realistic and meaningful picture of the future you want to move towards. Explore your aspirations while remaining open to uncertainty and possibility.
Module 3 – Regulate Self | Friday 30 October 2026 | 09:00–09:45 GMT
Change can trigger fear, hesitation and resistance – even when we genuinely want it. Explore the inner responses that can keep you stuck and learn how to understand and reassure them rather than fight against them. Develop a greater capacity to remain grounded when facing uncertainty.
Module 4 – Explore Identity | Friday 6 November 2026 | 09:00–09:45 GMT
Reconnect with who you are beneath roles, expectations and habitual ways of working. Explore your essence, strengths and natural gifts, and consider how these might contribute to the life you want to create.
Module 5 – Map Relations | Friday 13 November 2026 | 09:00–09:45 GMT
None of us creates a New Good Life in isolation. Explore the people, relationships and wider systems around you. Consider where you find support, where tensions or constraints exist and how your choices both influence and are influenced by others.
Module 6 – Transcend Limitations | Friday 20 November 2026 | 09:00–0945 GMT
Some of our biggest barriers are the patterns and assumptions we carry with us. Explore the beliefs, protective responses and familiar ways of thinking that may once have served you but could now be limiting what is possible. Consider how you might relate to them differently.
Module 7 – Face Threats | Friday 27 November 2026 | 09:00–09:45 GMT
How do we remain engaged with the world without becoming overwhelmed by it? Explore the wider challenges and uncertainties shaping our lives and consider how you can respond with greater perspective, resilience and agency.
Module 8 – Integrate Mission | Friday 4 December 2026 | 09:00–09:45 GMT
Bring together what you have discovered about your vision, identity, gifts and the needs you see around you. Explore what feels important enough to contribute towards and develop a personal sense of mission that is meaningful, realistic and genuinely your own.
Module 9 – Design Action | Friday 11 December 2026 | 09:00–09:45 GMT
Turn insight into movement. Rather than creating a rigid plan for an unpredictable future, identify small, safe and purposeful experiments that allow you to test possibilities, learn and adapt as you go.
Module 10 – Maintain Balance | Friday 18 December 2026 | 09:00–09:45 GMT
Bring the journey together by considering the practices, priorities and boundaries that will help you maintain greater presence, balance and joy as you move forward. Explore how to make your New Good Life sustainable rather than simply another short-term change.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to attend every Friday group check-in?

How much time should I allow each week?
MNGL has been designed to fit realistically alongside work and everyday life. Where will I access the programme materials?
The weekly learning materials, exercises and resources will be available through an online learning platform, giving you one place to access everything you need throughout the 10-week journey.
Is MNGL coach training or therapy?
MNGL is a guided personal and professional development journey for coaches. It is not foundational coach training and it is not therapy. The emphasis is on experiencing the New Good Life journey personally — exploring your own direction, identity, relationships, fears, purpose and priorities. Coaches who subsequently want to take the learning further into their professional practice will have the opportunity to continue into MNGL Plus.
