Neurodiversity Celebration Week 16th - 20th March 2026

Raising the Standard in Neurodiversity-Informed Coaching

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is about recognition, advocacy and valuing difference.

At the Universal Coaching Alliance, we believe it’s also about responsibility.

Over the past few years, interest in ADHD and neurodivergence has grown rapidly in workplaces, in education, and increasingly within coaching. More coaches are working with neurodivergent clients than ever before. Many are neurodivergent themselves.

That growth is powerful.

But growth without standards? That’s where things get messy.

ANUCA supports coaching practice and professional development.

It does not provide clinical diagnosis or therapy.

Why ANUCA Exists

Beyond Celebration
Into Professional Practice

ANUCA is an optional specialist membership available exclusively to UCA members.

We launched ANUCA – the ADHD and Neurodiversity arm of the UCA to:

  • Support confident, ethical neurodiversity-informed practice
  • Create a professional home for ADHD and neurodiversity coaches
  • Reduce isolation within a fast-growing field
  • Provide shared learning, supervision and peer connection
  • Uphold consistent professional standards

This week, we’re sharing a series of conversations with trainers, supervisors and practitioners who are shaping this space.

Across the videos you’ll hear about:

  • What good neurodiversity coach training actually looks like
  • Why accreditation and supervision matter
  • The importance of accessibility and flexibility
  • The role of community in reducing coach isolation
  • Practical support for new coaches entering the profession

Celebrating neurodiversity means:

✔ Moving beyond labels
✔ Creating genuinely accessible spaces
✔ Practising in neuro-affirming ways
✔ Understanding complexity, not simplifying it
✔ Holding ourselves to high professional standards

At UCA, we’re committed to ensuring that neurodiversity-informed coaching is not just well-intentioned — but well-trained, well-supervised and well-supported.

ANUCA is your dedicated member space for shared learning, resources, reflective dialogue and community — designed specifically for coaches working in this area.

Because inclusion isn’t just about awareness.
It’s about competence.

We’re proud to be building this profession thoughtfully — and collaboratively.
